7 Friends, 2 Charities & a lot of Mud.
Jack Butcher, Charlie Crook, Fin Draper, Harry Elmes, Dave Simmons, Bailey Dixon & Ben Lucas set the target to complete Tough Mudder 2021 in South London on the 19th September. This was a 10 mile mud run with 25 obstacles and challenges along the way which was a real test of fitness, strength and teamwork. Given that the fitness levels of the group were somewhat embarrassing this was a real challenge for them.
The 2 amazing charities we raised money for are Mind Havant and East Hants & Spark Community Space. We managed to raise £750 for each charity.
Spark Community Space are a newly formed local charity who offer a space for people to come have a coffee, cake and chat with the prices being a pay what you can afford rate. After life changing brain surgery the founder wanted to create an all inclusive space so that all can belong to help bring a Spark back into life! Given the recent year we’ve had, where communication has mostly come via a screen, having a place for those in need to come and socialise is so crucial. This is all made possible by the amazing work done at Spark.
