We have had another amazing month here at Spark and we are so proud of our team and how many people we have served in our community.
We served a huge amount of drinks in our Cup of Kindness Cafe this month; our community just love our Island Tea and Coffee! We also have some brilliant businesses who network with us before Spark opens including BNI, PBE and Rok Marsh – they all enjoy a hot drink while they network and by paying for them in full it allows us to offer drinks to those who may not be able to afford them.
We are so grateful to the Queens Hotel and the Tenth Hole for donating cakes to us each week as they bring so much joy to our community! Our Team have also started to bake fresh cakes each week which means some days at Spark you can get fresh, warm, delicious cakes! Our team have been very much enjoying them!
We love that Spark has become famous for its cheese toasties – our team work all day to create and serve cheese toasties to our community. We have the hardest working toastie machines in Portsmouth and we have made 1000’s since we opened in April! We are thinking of adding a few specials so watch this space!
We are passionate about how art can support mental wellbeing and are proud to offer creative sessions for free each month, from pebble painting, to mindful colouring and motivational magnets there is something for everyone to get involved with. We even have some sessions led by our community which makes us so happy because they are sharing their spark with us.
